I’ll always want to be biased that Metal Mania: W.A.S.P. is my best video because W.A.S.P. is my all time favourite Heavy Metal band and Blackie Lawless is my favourite songwriter… but I feel like the Taylor Swift Retrospective is just as good, at the very least.

And I hope I succeed in that with this video. If you haven’t already, definitely check out the video. It was a pleasure to make and I think it just might be my best video yet.

But Taylor Swift has absolutely blown me away this past year and I really wanted to make this video, not only as a tribute to her but to make a competent rebuttal against the old and tired Metal Elitist that Taylor Swift isn’t a musician, a good musician or that she doesn’t deserve the fame she has.

I know doing a five and a half hour in-depth Retrospective/Documentary on Taylor Swift is a bit out of character for my channel, considering a vast majority of my content is on Heavy Metal music.

Super thankful to those that joined me in the premiere. Had a lot of positive feedback both during the premiere and after.

There were certainly ups and downs. That copyright claim the video got back in June/July was STRESSFUL, but luckily Sony Music Entertainment backed down after my appeal because the video falls under the Fair Use Doctrine.

I’m truly amazed at how well this video did. I was expecting MAYBE 100 views within 10 years but it’s absolutely exceeded every expectation I had!
