Lose/Lose situation for Bungie with the time gating. They either give us 3 weeks of the dungeon or they rotate weekly. Crowds on both ends would complain:

"Bungie why do we have to do the same dungeon for 3 weeks."

"Bungie why do i have to wait 3 weeks to get the spire weapons again."

How is running something for a drop any different to running something for a deepsight? You get 5 deepsight and never touch the mode again. It makes the game stale.

Power grind for sure they need to find a way to get round it. Crafting however ruined the game. The skeleton of the game has become weak due to being structured around deepsight drops. Crafting needs to go. Forever.
