Matron "Mama" Morton (Illyeana Kirven) stole the show for me as well as Amos (Andrew Metzger). They were both awesome. The song "Cell Block Tango" was fantastic. All in all, a pleasant experience different from the movie. It will have you singing on the car ride from home. (End)

...we ended up adding a 20' wire, laying it on the ground in a circle to the side of the antenna. The driven element is the Slinky itself. This brought my SWR to a better level for me. Are there other tweaks? Possibly. Attached is a before/after image of screenshots with my NanoVNA-H. 2/2

Over the weekend, my Best Friend and I built a slinky antenna. It is on a 19ft fiberglass pole with a 9:1 balun. It is tuneable with my radio. I didn't get a chance to try it out. Heard a lot. I will try it again this weekend and report back. #amateurradio #hamradio

It is my Best Friend's birthday today. Therefore, a mini road trip is happening now and we are going on OLD Route 66. First stop, St. Clair, MO at a place called Lewis Cafe for some breakfast. Review later.

My Fiancé's cousin gave our good boi a little fleece cape that attaches by Velcro around the neck and waist. He has been wearing it for a couple days now off and on and loves it! It keeps him warm and he gets just as excited to wear that as he does with his harness when we go for a walk.

In the meantime, for my recovery, here is my good boi, Tantor. He will be 2 years old in January 2024. He is 53% Labrador Retriever and 47% American Pit Bull Terrier. Got an Embark DNA test done on him for his ancestry. I love my bo! 🐾
