That said, most successfully wealthy actors by necessity have their assets arranged in a way that allows them to go long periods of time without an income. Actors who go broke are like horses in the desert, you must be a camel to survive Hollywood. Nature of the business.

The problem, as I see it, is that a strike must be unrelenting. Sustained on sheer desperation. At first those particular elite actors may strike in solidarity, but how long are they willing to go or what assets are they willing to risk before they start appealing for compromise... only speculation

As someone who used to endlessly watch 3hour debate videos, I remember how I felt when someone ‘refused’ debate. I thought it was so telling. But as an adult with a full portion of human brain still intact I fully get it now. Debate is mostly a ballet of language and should only be enjoyed as such.

Some libraries near me are even providing spaces for VR. I can go into my local library and start developing something today for free. That’s awesome.

Also libraries typically give the generally public access to advanced technologies. We forget that books, computers, scanners/printers, etc were in their respective time periods accessible in libraries well before the average person owned one. This is really important for education and development.
