i made this bc i wasnt doing what i told myself I should be doing for hours, but in the two days since I've figured out/written like 3 scenes so i guess diminishing self portraiture works

warmips are a good idea, until you spend all your work time on those "warm ups." Each of these from a different day/session lol. Hyena is @JPjettlagg's Marco, the rest are the cast of @coalbones.bsky.social 's Spuckers. I have a very obvious favorite and am not great with perspective. or colors.

Messing with the sona idea more, idk how im feelin about it now. I like him being a black cat especially cause it matches my hair but it makes the very human style of eyes ive gone with pop in a weird way. need to get more subtle. have the sketch.

I had actually done these the night before but I think I like the pencil one more. Made myself a lykoi by accident at first, but everyone I know defaults me as a lil black cat. a real Jiji type.

Second image is from over a year ago. I think the pose is more expressive in the old one but this was a quick thing to see if i could draw better and in a more streamlined process than back then. and with better colors, probably.

Learning how to draw these characters as I go about trying to animate(?) for the first real time is probably a bad idea but I learn by driving into brick walls and taking notes. Not to scale obviously. also how the fuck do you draw dax

Just finished my first ever reference sheet commission! I've done very few commissions, let alone something like this- I already know what I'd do differently next time but it was really fun!

I didn't realize I never posted this. One of those doodles that got away from me- I just wish I'd cared enough to make it cleaner. It's weird how much more precise my art feels in such a short difference of time. Anyway, another song lyrics in bg thing for Caleb.
