Love Fabulosos Cadillacs. Also- more lyrics for when I’m getting in my protesta feels:

“Solo le pido a Dios
Que la guerra no me sea indiferente
Es un monstruo grande y pisa fuerte
Toda la pobre inocencia de la gente”

Doing the pap itself not so time consuming and we used to do similar frequency for cervical paps until we got better data that the yearly frequency was not needed. Anticipate we’ll be changing screening intervals for anal paps over time too.

The harder part is definitely drop off between the anal pap result and getting the HRA if you don’t have it available in house— have worked in both systems and there’s a stark difference once you have to refer out.

Bonus outcome was home testing my baby for spike antibodies and seeing she had them (don’t ask me how far out- I don’t remember, postpartum haze!).

Interesting. I’ve been lucky. We don’t use them much, our micro lab director requires a strong argument to approved them, but so far diagnosed a disseminated M.haemophilum and a hepatic brucelloma. Both diagnoses changed management. But department wide yield is surely lower.
