this is what I said! there are AI models that are not yet open source but if the AI publicly available is any indication I’m just not convinced that industry wide AI integration is possible. even models like Genie 3 sound good, but still not enough to do what they’re suggesting

however I DO know that people in AI have more at stake and stand to gain from it doing well so they’ll say whatever. AI has proven so far to not be as impressive as everyone says it is supposed to be. so curious as to what you think about that w the knowledge you have!

I argue that while yes plenty of consumers are gooners that wouldn’t care either way, many (if not most) prefer human interaction. AI as we know it isn’t really sustainable (or good enough) to wipe an entire industry especially in <10yrs. but, I’m not in this industry so I wouldn’t know.

It’s AI-related so maybe not your field but you are probably better versed than me! someone who works in AI said that newer models have the potential to make SW (online and otherwise) obsolete. it will be cheaper (in time), immersive, always available, and more intuitive.
