I once caught one of my cats literally licking dustbunnies and other filth off the bristles of a broom, years ago. He had the expression of someone who was just caught in the middle of a shameful secret habit.

thank you! My memory is hazy but I think it was inspired by some of Anna Dittmann's art wrt to how chalk textured brushes can give a really good illusion of detail while still being super hazy and soft.

And some more ambitious ones in this style, also from a couple of years ago. I will probably never offer comms like these again because while doing portraits this way is chill, doing anything this involved is borderline nightmarish! I liked the results, though.

These are all good but I particularly love the demonic soft-serve horns on the last one.
