Unfortunately for all intents and purposes I believe he got away with everything.

Smith knows that his case will be gutted when the orange man takes office, also the DOJ memo is there that presidents cannot be prosecuted. All we can hope is that the DOJ can open up the case again after trump leaves office, which he couldn't do if the case would be dismissed by a trumpist judge.
