Least favourite is marketing, trying to get new people interested. My "usual suspects" will support my work but it's so hard to engage new readers. Many readers won't take a chance on indie authors who are unknown to them. (NOTE: This is NOT an invitation for marketers to message me!)

I love the process of writing the first draft. The basic planning has been done. Enough research to get started. Now I can get to know my new characters (and maybe welcome back some familar ones from previous stories) and set them on their journey as the story unfolds.

My next WIP is in the very early planning stages. It will be about a legendary concept which is regarded as a fairy tale to amuse children. Only it turns out that this legend is reality. It involves songs, singers and sorcerers.

Love that! I have what I call an obfuscation spell which muddles people's minds and memories. Very useful when you don't want witnesses!
