I definitely have a lot to say. I think the interesting thing is Valve has not plans to release via retail so prob says where they see the audience.

I've been burnt by Valve before (I have 2 SteamMachines from last time). Only time will tell, but it is an interesting move. The big issues is always the "round peg in a square hole" feel that some of those PCs have in a Console like use case.

I would get it on PlayStation 5 if you have one at this point. It runs best on that platform.
