I love all of these initiatives, like the interestingly-textured hexagonal concrete tiling that's started being used on sea walls in a few places around the UK because a) it breaks up the wave force and b) the local flora and fauna suddenly have a place to hang out.

Not the Burgess Shale, but I recently got to visit the fossilised saurapod footprints at Ponta dos Lagosteiros near Lisbon, and one of the most wonderful things about them is paleontologists think they've found the other end of the trail - in Nova Scotia, due to continental drift.

You may be pleased to know that one of the ways Poland and Finland are already planning for this is a massive conservation push; specifically, bringing back the old wetlands along the eastern borders, because nothing says, "screw you tanks" like a deep marsh.

I don't have any photos to hand, alas, but Explosive Ember is a similarly fun, easy to grow windowsill chilli. Bit milder than 'Basket of Fire' (still hotter than supermarket!) and incredibly goth - black leaves, and chillies that mature from purple to crimson.

It was wonderful to meet you (and apologies for being confusing in the signing queue) - if you do get the chance to come back and have enough time, I shall point you at the museums responsible for Going Postal and some of Thud! respectively.
