just in case anyone hasnt said this you can be against censorship while also having boundaries. all those people that make you uncomfortable, you are more than welcome to not want to be around them but you should still advocate for their right to create those things that make you uncomfortable.

Growing up in this era as a weird queer punk kid, we were all transgressive edgelords in the face of a society that was still clinging to 80s Satanic Panic morality and it was recognized as a progressive stance. Confusing to me that now the queer youth are the ones calling for Censorship.
coming into age in the 90s/00s when edgelord shock punk was the dominating trend I really thought the concept of censorship was settled as Bad Actually and Things Grossing You Out is in fact 100% a you problem but decades later it seems to be news to people
