I miss living downtown. I miss living in a walkable neighborhood and part of town. I miss being able to walk my dog without having to worry about stray dogs running up on us.

One thing I absolutely hate about the hotter months is the longer days. I love when it’s dark by 5PM. It’s almost 7 and the sun is just now starting to set.

Sometimes I wonder how the hell I’ve managed to stay straight edge for 30 goddamn years. I only say this because this year has been incredibly difficult and stressful. This week may have taken the cake though and yet, I’ve never thought about numbing the pain with drugs or alcohol.
