Might be tunnel locations. President Taft visited the Gunnison Tunnel for its dedication in 1909. Rail is a good hypothesis too, the Union Railway Depot opened in GJ in 1906. Also the Colorado National Monument opened in 1911.

It's probably not the easiest spot to fill, either. I wouldn't want it. Hopefully at some point in the near future we'll have enough training data to just make a mindless, soulless algorithm do it instead.
