I did a Scrabble speedrunning thing the other day that I am still baffled and amazed by

PAL PS1 Scrabble has several languages you can play in (English, French, Spanish, and German), and I've wanted to do speedruns in every language

Well I finally did my last one, and look at my non-English times

Again I don't really have a problem with this, I just saw it and got confused about why it exists. It activated the part of my brain that thinks about how things are made.

At least this is miles better than the garbage AI Scrabble images you can find.
AI generated Scrabble board and tiles found on Google images. The Scrabble board has premium squares in the wrong places. The board is the wrong size, both in grid dimensions, but also in that the tiles are bigger than the squares on the board, making it impossible to play on. The tiles are too thick. Multiple tiles in focus have nonsense characters on them. Tiles have incorrect point values for any version of the game, including several tiles of the same letter having differing point values.

Or like, if an English set isn't readily available, all you have to do is get the Ö out of the frame and not spell anything with a Z in it, and then I would guess almost nobody would notice

Like it's totally fine that a German stock photographer got some work spelling English words with Scrabble tiles, but why not use an English set?

According to the adult guidelines page, it looks like it's the policies of Paypal, Stripe, and Payoneer, not Visa, that are the issue. I just read through all three, and they all have clauses to the effect of, "Selling any adult content is prohibited, but we might make individual exceptions for you"

This was from the book "A Few Seconds of Panic" by the author Stefan Fatsis, about the time that Fatsis, at 43 years old and not a professional athlete, trained as a kicker with the Denver Broncos

I know almost nothing about professional Football but I was totally engrossed by this book
