Did a bit of foley work today trying to get some satisfying clinky coin sounds to use in the game when you're getting your money up. Does this sound adequately dopamine producing?

Spent all day getting various bonuses and penalties to pop up when you sell stuff in the game today. Previously, this all just happened all at once, and you'd just see the final tally, which is way less exciting. I think this was worth the day-long refactor haha.

My game's got a silly little particle-effect whenever you get cash from a customer. A good deal less physical, but at least it makes the clinky money sounds! (Still want to juice it up a bit, but hey!)

Good news! I hooked up the last little bits of the Quest system in my game and it seems stable.

Bad news! When I debug unlocking everything at once, this kinda goes on for a while. (Video truncated for brevity)

A bit more meta-progression/reward unlock progress! Got an update to the UI for the completed Quest in today with some embellishments. Probably gonna need to move it to a higher canvas layer so it's not obscured and rename the popup, but cool so far!

Added some fun new stuff to the game today! Got a custom cursor in there, because I love when games have a little hand I can make wiggle, and some achievement popups to scratch that dopamine itch.

Implemented a fun new animation for when you get new cards for your deck today. Nothing too flashy, but it does the job I think! Godot's animation player is pretty neato. (Also, check out the new run start bonus screen and tunes!)
