Interesting ideas and stands from Jeffrey Sachs about the way forward for Europe freeing itself from US domination. Maybe in the end all of what Trump had caused will result in a stronger European Union and the ethics and rules based world it stands for. Rather a more positive outcome than expected.

@Canadians, you are probably welcome to join the EU. We share more values with each other compared to what we both share with the USA these days. We also believe in international law en human rights. Also, we would love to share EU-Canadian wealth. Let’s be one economic zone. Have a talk about it!

Ok that’s a first in my life time. An US vice president undermining our Europeaan democratic nations by suggesting authoritarian regimes are not a threat to our democracies but all our democratic effort’s to stop authoritarian regimes from interfering are the so called real threat. #EU=fordemocracy
