My friends and family from Bolivia were with me on the phone a lot, cannot say my parents were happy, but they were supportive (Part 2/3)
The next day my drains were removed and I was cleared to go home after lunch, we still had to take the bus back home (A two hour ride). My friend, who not only took one week off work, tráceles from Madrid to Malaga, had to take care care of me and carry my luggage around two cities, was very happy for me and gifted me a card of my childhood favourite digimon. She is a freaking angel. The ride went well, but I got really dizzy, honestly I always get dizzy in that route so nvm. I was prescribed: Enantyum, Paracetamol, Antibiotics and Omeprazole. I have to use a binder 24/7 and clean my stitches with Betadine and change my gauze once a day. Btw my family was constantly in the phone with me. I decided to not keep my nipples, they were always a nuisance to me, and that made the whole thing a LOT easier. I made sure to make everything in my house was accesible beforehand, I had a triangle pillow, dishware in low places, stocked a lot of food, bought a grabby thingy, and neck pillow. We spend the week playing and watching movies Now my friend went back home, and Im alone at home waiting to have my stitches removed. Here in Spain you can have top surgery covered, but for that you have to have been on T for at least two years, It’s not an option for me now (Maybe in the future) so I went private, everything cost 5K euros. I moved continents, worked two jobs for over a year to be able to afford it, and to have extra savings so I can rest comfortably and look for a new job in another city soon too. Im really grateful for having this privilege

(A drawing of a person post top surg) First, I travelled to Malaga the same day of the surgery. Then I met with my friend who helped me through all of this, then I got into surgery some hours later, one hour and half later, I woke up FREE I didn’t had any pain, four hours later I could eat and stand up to go to the toilet, my friend helped me stand up and I had to hold my drains around, but I could walk perfectly fine. I was really hungry, I couldn’t use my left hand because of the cannula, but I could use my right hand right away. We watched Shrek 2 in my tablet and went to sleep.
