When I started working on my own projects it became even more stark to me. I adjust my character's throw animation a little bit and think "could this really make some dude in Nevada mad enough to write about me?"

Gonna go on record and say I have given it a measured reaction in my 2 friend groups privately of “wow, I don’t agree with that but that’s interesting” and I wish more people would do that.

I think when you have people using the term AI when discussing DLSS (basic upscaling on your local GPU) and text to speech (Generated by the developer using local recordings) we have a real problem.

I'm not taking a stand here I'm just stating the obvious, AI as a blanket term is awful.

tbf the reporting around this has been tough to parse, people use the term AI to describe a multitude of things that have been around for a while. It's a real problem that we've blanketed the term AI across so many different technologies.

They didn't go into chatgpt and generate the game...
