i could have. but i would trade software lock-in for hardware+software lock-in. not my flavor x3

The reality is, words weigh more when they come from the top. Once you’re the creator of something people love, what you say echoes far beyond intent. It’s not about blame , it’s about impact. Fans hear gospel, not nuance, and that’s a responsibility no creator escapes

Oof, same pattern every fandom hits... sadly been there myself. if a fan-ship steps outside someone’s headcanon or brushes against their personal identity lens, it’s treated like a personal attack. The overreaction is wild. People forget fiction isn’t activism. it’s imagination doing its thing.

Just shows you that these people do not want to even understand how involved the process actually is. they completely misunderstand it, think its a "easy" decision and then want to exact punishment/rules on everyone else because of their personal failings. yep. because taking responsibilty = evil.

*cough*... yeah... no thanks!

you have made not a single argument so far that invalidates the use of automation. All you do is yell at Ai for merely existing. You want to know what a true waste of energy is? crypto currency, and arguing with people like you online.
May 24, 2025 at 7:19 PM
Disabled creators succeeding without AI doesn’t erase the value of AI that helps others succeed. Choice is the point. you can take it or leave it. have a good day.
May 22, 2025 at 12:39 PM
yes they do. you're just bitter and want to be right.
May 22, 2025 at 12:12 PM
Fair. sorry for the misunderstanding then. Yes that is quite sad when people don't want to learn at all. Again Apology for misunderstanding.
May 22, 2025 at 12:10 AM
It's the framing that suggested people who want helpful tools “don’t want to think or learn.” That’s a common gatekeeping trope implying ease = laziness.

but if that is not how you meant it to come over, you can always elaborate on your initial post.

Thank you for calling this out. Cognitive offloading is not new, and it’s not brain erosion. We need more of this nuance, especially from people who’ve seen the real thing.
May 21, 2025 at 11:38 PM
There’s a huge difference between AI-generated spam and AI-augmented creativity. One floods timelines, the other quietly enhances workflows. Guess which one sticks around?
May 21, 2025 at 11:34 PM
Is this about helping people do better work faster, or just gatekeeping how hard someone ‘should’ suffer to be taken seriously?
May 21, 2025 at 11:33 PM
Sure, let’s delete AI ... right after we uninstall your phone’s camera app, your GPS, your banking fraud alerts, and the assistive tools that help millions of disabled users navigate the web. Sound fair?
May 21, 2025 at 11:31 PM
AI’s just a tool. You can boycott what you see , however you’ll never know what was subtly enhanced. The real fix is transparency and intent, not exile.
May 21, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Generalizing like this only adds fuel to the fire. Not everyone who supports GenAI is an empathy-devoid techbro. Some of us are here because we want to fix the harm, not ignore it.
May 21, 2025 at 11:28 PM
You're right! GenAI is a tool. When it’s trained ethically (like AlphaFold), it accelerates science. When it’s trained sloppily, it outputs trash. So i'd suggest people shift blame to the chefs, not the stove.
May 21, 2025 at 11:26 PM
that is sadly wishful thinking indeed. by no means am i supporting ai-slop. but i fear that genie wont go back into the bottle willingly.
May 21, 2025 at 11:22 PM
Alphafold 2.0 has called and found your comment to be factually wrong.
May 21, 2025 at 11:19 PM
they won't. sorry to rain on your parade. But that is wishful thinking.
