Decided to start rewatching “Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duel Monsters” from the beginning, and after reading the manga I’m realizing how much the showrunners had to do to make the show work without the backstory present in Season 0. From condensing the Death Tower into a single episode to Bakura’s intro.

To this day, I’m surprised that we haven’t gotten offshoots of Kamen Rider Decade. His driver is simple, his powers are easily understood. The closest we’ve gotten is Legend but that took a long time to get to.
