I agree so much. The anti-tunneling/slugging are things the game really needs but the implementation it's not the way it needs to be done. It's punitive for tunneling killers, but it does little to make 12-hooks viable or rewarding.

Imo there's a much more than just that. It relates in interesting ways with SH1, SH4 and Shattered Memories. I'm just glad they didn't just tried to go the SH2 route as all those other games did.

This game is amazing. I haven't finished it yet but so far it's been such a refreshing experience. It has a weird comfy in it idk why but I love it. The soundtrack is great too.

Silent hill F goes in a totally different direction, but oh boy those body horror sections totally got me
