The first 3 overs were very traumatic. It’s been a lot better since then. The bad news for followers of Pope is that historically his 2nd innings record has been much worse than his 1st innings one.

Plenty of use of ‘however’, ‘despite’ and ‘whilst’, so it is difficult to understand exactly what they are trying to say. But I took it as a mild downgrade overall which is hopefully mostly in the SP already.

Thanks for the insights, guys. I’ve held #MBH.L for years and have been disappointed by the recent SP decline. There doesn’t seem to be anything too negative in the Budget for house builders so hopefully there will be some pick up in demand for bricks.

Absolutely right! Some genuinely mean well and some are just ramping a stock to make a quick gain. The difficult part is trying to spot the difference.

If a stock has already dropped 60% it’s clearly got its own problems. Of course a general market fall isn’t going to help matters but I’d have thought the future news flow from the company will be more important.
