Speaking of voice actors taking me out of the game a bit, just met Paarthunax, a.k.a. Charles Martinet.
He does a good job hiding his voice until he says “yeeesss” and now he’s just Wario 😅

One thing that does take me out of the immersion a bit in Skyrim is any time I hear Jim Cummings voicing an NPC. He’s not at all a bad voice actor, but whenever his characters talk all my mind pictures is Winnie the Pooh or Tigger talking about alcohol, wenches and murdering.
