If you've watched Full Metal Jacket by Kubrick, you know this place 🇻🇳 They're marching with a burning city in the background when Joker says "We hump down to the Perfume River to settle in for the night." Then they sing Mickey Mouse. This river and this city, 57 years after the battle #photography 📸
The Battle of Huế (1968) is a key event of Full Metal Jacket, even though the movie wasn't filmed in Vietnam. Still, it does a pretty good job of capturing the scale and intensity of that fight.
