love experimental music, delve in it. specifically interested in live performing setups.
former graphics designer, electronics repair technician, now doing variety of technical and mechanical work.
in case mixed input doesn't work (game only allows gamepad or mouse input, but not at the same time), you'd most likely have to convert all gamepad inputs to kb/m, as gyro to joystick sucks 90% of the time in those cases. you can try analog simulation option in Steam input for WASD also.

Gyro to mouse is most straightforward way to make it work linear and precise. And you usually make it more precise by decreasing in-game mouse sensitivity, and increasing it accordingly in steam input or remapper of choice. also try World view or Laser Pointer in 3DOF to 2D mode.

there are things in the middle, like finding relatively complex, but minimalistic enough idea that sounds interesting to you either way.

depending on Godzilla in question this may mean that things could go way way worse. of even imply that they should

tbh, using smartphones since their appearance around 2003, I was very utilitarian about using phone pretty early on, which is why I stayed on Windows Phone/Mobile till it wasn't supported anymore and had some issues piled up because of it. but the habit stays even on Android.

sure, but it's just for nostalgic value really. I mean that MS could've kept developing and keeping their messenger alive/relevant, I think then it would still have presence unlike Skype.

what could possibly go wrong when you try to pick it up to have a drink

and it's funny how Skype seemed to be business oriented at the time, but then after MS bought it, it felt like no one cared about it anymore. even though it took quite a while for app itself to change.

the weirdest thing of all is that they killed 2 fine apps at the same time, one with swift death (Live messenger) and another with very slow and stagnating death (Skype).
maybe if they never bought Skype, Live Messenger could be still a thing. I loved that app. Skype - not so much.

maybe we should make it a venting thread for every time bluetooth on windows shits itself.
every damn day somthing's up. I've turned on my BT receiver for headphones, and windows be like 'Connected 🙂' and stays that way for hours till I realize that it's not doing shit. should be 'Connected, music'

yeah, if you don't have either Dualshock3-4/DualSense or Switch Pro or any 3rd party gamepad that can emulate either of those, then better to find someone who does and try it first.
if it will work for you, then there are tons of great options for 3rd party ones to consider.

I wonder if you could beat this by using gamepad with gyro, so you use joystick to make overall turns (as if you're turning your body and head around), while you turn whole gamepad for fine aiming (as if moving eyes). it often requires per-game tuning of settings though. Switch Pro and DS have gyro

bluetooth on windows is a coin toss everytime anything at all changes, like new device is connected or PC went to sleep and back. and one side of a coin is heavier than other. and that side means bluetooth shits it's pants.

but can it cv/gate?
January 27, 2025 at 12:06 PM
in that sense sure, initially I also did it daily, but I got tired doing it so often, when it collides with other things to do.

one downside though is that you'll always know that you don't vacuum often enough. but it's worth trying, because clean floor filters the air, as it attracts dust and pollution better.

I see. I've also got some autoimmune issues that can only be keept in check to some degree. but I was kinda carefree with my diet up to my late 30s, should've started caring more like at least 10 years ago.

nah, it does work, or at least machine learning in certain non-art imposing areas where it helps speeding up research.

you know what, it could be that VST3 technically allows it, but it's a big pain in the ass for developer to implement and DAW must also support it, so a rare combo overall.

If it's Reaper's JS 'plugins' idk if you can really call them such. I'm talking about VST and CLAP specifically, probably applies to AU as well, but not sure.
