It somehow gets worse. The cops refuse to call an ambulance because the streets are blocked off and then blame the protestors for causing the situation. They end up having to get a dozen people together to carry her on foot somewhere, blocks from the nearest open street

Via @btnewsroom A protester was shot in the head as Los Angeles riot. Police fired rubber bullets, during an anti-ICE protest. Community members say police refused to call an ambulance despite her bleeding. Her current condition is unknown.
