About 200 MB was being kept in memory per invocation, which would eventually overflow the JVM heap. I was able to bring it down to 100 kB, much better!

Been really enjoying install4j and JProfiler for developing midis2jam2. Super powerful software—thanks @ingokegel.bsky.social and team!

Doing this for three reasons:

1. To advance my understanding by programming all these operations
2. A practice in web design and app development
3. To create a modern and user-friendly tool that surveying students can use

Once this starts to reach a stable state, I will make it publicly available!

The ADJUST results display window takes up the entire screen (the first image is a crop), is a simple plain text display, and cannot be copied. (You have to print it to PDF first if you want to copy the output!)

I'm presenting the results in a clean format, adhering to visual hierarchy guidelines.

To reduce friction, I'm making structured data entry components to guide the user. This keeps them from having to jump back and forth between entering data and reading documentation.

Some operations in the software require a data file. To know how to format it, you have to read the documentation to understand the syntax for each operation! This is distracting because you are spending more time learning the syntax rather than actually performing (and learning) the operations.

Wow—this is incredible! Definitely going to use this for my next project. The components dump is super useful too. I like that you can see all the variants/uses of each component. Makes designing UIs easier when you can see it all in front you. Excellent work!
