I want someone to see a piece I’ve made and feel like we just had a 3am conversation in a parked car I want them to walk away touched I want that intimacy transcend through space and time I want ART

I want to figure out how to better inject myself into my work how to more effectively transfer my energy to canvas

I want to make art that moves people like everyone does and I’m realizing that isn’t found only in technique it’s found in the essence the story your art is telling

There is value in that art I still stopped and took a picture it’s still beautiful but do I feel anything? Is there any context? The person who made this do I have now have a better mental image of this person after viewing this piece? No.

Not to say that’s disrespectful or a slight but do I want to make the kind of art that ends up on the wall of a kitchen and bath supply shop restroom? Do I want to make the kind of art that ends up at tjmaxx with a 12$ tag?

And that makes me wonder about my blind spots the mfs who talk in circles about getting better but can’t or won’t see their gaping emotional wound, just a worry idk

What if I’m the weird that’s not just an acquired taste but the weird that’s an active danger to be around “worrying about it means you’re probably safe” apparently not someone of these weird mfs are popping out after being seemingly self aware

Thank yeww probably gonna be a loose vibe, if anything I just end up being “me” whatever that means on any platform but me and sexy in a posh way could be synonymous
