"creator infamously fucked over by disney makes a show about sci-fi dystopian disneyland" is a very marketable pitch that plays very well into glitch's merch-fueled business model it's just willfully dense to pretend this was just a dangling open slot for Any Show

somebody else was like "do they know how many trans women would jump at the chance to produce an independent animated pilot!?" and like yeah i'm sure they do i want us all to get to make our independent animated pilots but like do you not understand why glitch hired this person to make this show
