I unpinned my first serious about-post bc it needed to be updated. I tend to have a new one ready at the start of each year, so I figured I would just wait until then. :P In the mean time, here's a little bit about me for anyone who stumbles upon my work otherwise.
LIST: BFA in Animation, MA in Illustration, Full Time Job. 28 years old. I have friends and people I care about who care about me, who don't just provide me with delusional lip service and actually try to help me solve problems. I've started my own Studio Practice. I have a wide variety of skills and interests pertaining to the arts and beyond. I did not break out into the industry with my unique perspective and skillset, but I have been the envy of people equally as talented and practiced, or even moreso. I did not realize how deeply I was being overlooked and mistreated until recently, and I only have myself to blame. I aspire to be in spaces where my voice is reached by people who are willing to learn, who are willing to change their minds, who are willing to do the work. One day, I want to teach. I've spent my time cultivating insight and now I'm going to use it. I've spent a lot of my life trying to get along with people who actually, just suck. It's nobody's fault, but I can only be responsible for myself, so I'm learning how not to do that anymore. I am not Terminally Online. I do not know and I do not care.

They are holding the decapitated head of a monster shaped like a tiger, and the freshly killed corpse of a smaller monster shaped like a bird. :) It's a metaphor.

He was initially designed for a defunct setting, but I've successfully revised and retrofitted him for my purposes. I would love to like, draw some comics with him as a presiding force, but one thing at a time.

A red imp. If it were a pokemon it'd be a pure dark type with an ability like prankster or infiltrator. They'd probably be a single state evolution, but if i ever made a more in-line evolution for them they'd probably be really nasty with an eviolite.
