Three men proceeded to assault her, pin her to the ground, and then ZIP TIE her. They were later identified as “security” and had NO AUTHORITY to use forcibly remove and confine (which is kidnapping, in legal terms) anyone.

She was one of several people speaking out in a town hall meeting. The sheriff, Bob Norris, an elected official, threatened to arrest her (she’d done nothing to be arrested for), then directed unidentified men who were not his deputies to remove her.
