Finally back hiking and felt great!

Feels like a good day to spin old records from my youth.

Chop Wood, Carry Water: Checking in with a friend or community member to see how they are doing. Just 1-2 folks at a time.

One does not chop a whole winter's worth of wood in a single afternoon.

Chop Wood, Carry water...this has become my mantra in recent days. What is it that I can attend to in this moment, this day as my "Chop Wood Carry Water" balance of ground, center, observe, plan and take action.

Next up is going through my book collection.

After re-organizing our framed photo collection (downsizing, re-purposing frames, getting loose photos into a new album) I donated 3 boxes of frames.

So my version of "chop wood, carry water" has been to work through an assortment of tasks-small projects that have been lingering for months and sometimes years.

Friends remind friends to have all their documents - license, social security card, birth certificate and passport updated and on hand in a safe place.

Chop wood, carry water, keep breathing...and plan.

Starting my day pretty much the same way since Nov. 5th. Dealing with the sea of emotions...mostly the uncertainty is the hardest part since I am typically a rather grounded, pragmatic action taker (sun sign Taurus with sun, mercury & mars all in Taurus in the 6th house.)

Today was a bit of a chill day. Lunch with a friend. Trying to stay informed with the political gong show of clowns that 45 is setting up. Caught up on some homework for W5 (Ministerial training with @christopherpenczak.bsky.social and Temple of Witchcraft. Now time to escape into a good book.

Still trying to get a handle on bluesky.

Grateful for a full day of clients (tarot readings and energy healing). Everyone is in a much higher state of need. Felt like triage level of energy work just holding space for folks given the current state of life in the US.
