Went into work last weekend and cut some scraps to frame the one on the left. The right one was a frame the customer changed their mind on. The boss told me I could use.

I’m trying out Dorlands for my new paintings. So far seems ok. It takes 1-2 days to dry. I’m wondering if any swirls from application will show when it’s dry. Does anyone have advice on it? Thank you.

I work at a frame shop. I cannot tell you how many times people throw out beautiful hardwood frames. (Please don’t do this!) Thankfully this customer asked us to refinish her koa frame. Here are photos of before, sanded down and the final oiled and sealed frame.
