I remembered to take a picture! I thought at first that the shape wasn't really visible, but then I spotted the lens flare that does show the sun's shape clearly. #PartialEclipse

The mane of this crochet unicorn is made by means of hyperbolic crochet. I made it for a friend of N's a few years ago.

I had a busy day today and didn't get around to creating anything new, so I went into my drawings from earlier challenges to see if I could find something to fit the prompt. I figured a camera obscura projecting a tree counts.

Math art challenge #MathArtMarch by @ayliean.bsky.social day 2: On a square grid.

I had several ideas, but in the end decided to go with pixel art. I used a photo of a real four leaf clover that I found myself for this. (As my profile picture shows, four leaf clovers are a bit of a thing with me.)

Je hebt het goede level, maar je moet nog 1 ding doen en dat is het ook echt leren. Daar zijn 2 manieren voor.

Manier 1 is in de contacts op de tab 'animal info' tikken en dan 'Learn to craft this item' (en dan kun je het favoriten of metren craften).

I tried working it out before checking yours and to my surprise, I came to a solution pretty quickly. I may have made mistakes though.

I made a sketch without the grid.

The area of ABC is the area of ADC minus the area of BCD, so:

1/2*AG*CD - 1/2*EG*CD
= 1/2*(AG-EG)*CD
= 1/2*AE*CD
A rough sketch in ballpoint of the same situation with a different triangle, but without the grid, and with a point G added that is the intersection of CD and the extension of AE.

J heeft 'm nu ook gekocht dus iedereen hier in huis doet weer mee.

Ik heb mijn campsite in kerstsfeer gebracht. Leaf tokens lijken veel makkelijker te krijgen te zijn dan leaf tickets vroeger waren. Dus meer opties om leuke spullen te verzamelen.

Ervaren naai(st)ers, help!

Ik ben aan het proberen mijn naaimachine onder de knie te krijgen. Maar er gaat iets mis, het zit wel vast(ish), maar de onderkant van mij naad ziet er zo uit. Ik vermoed iets met spanning, maar welke kant moet het op, en welke knop is dat?
