I'd also add that the biometrics are processed on the device. On Android, if you click lockdown after opening the power menu, it will disable biometrics.

Why does he "owe" us anything. He doesn't. He doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want too. We as Americans re-elected an orange dumbass. And have to live with that. Obama doesn't have a magic impeachment power. Call your Congressional reps and be ready for mid terms.
Nobody is here to save us.

I'm a liberal but I'm sure MLG will just suspend the constitution again and blame everything on the round house republicans

@javierfornm.bsky.social With you being my representative I am disgusted that phone pouches in school took priority over literal lives. Priorities. I don't understand how you as a speaker failed the citizens on that. Kinda dumb.

All good. Not a fan of President musk but starlink is impressive compared to other satellite providers. Unfortunately, it's the only provider that gets more than two mb a second at my dad's house. It's nothing compared to my cable internet. It's way better than HughesNet though.

Yeah I'm just saying anything on the Internet has to run all the way to a data center and back rather than just to the local transmitting tower.

I mean any medium can fail. Many places in the us have retired their sirens in favor of wireless alerts. I’d assume the latency mainly comes from all the extra copper / fiber the signal needs to go thru to go thru the internet rather than ota. I’d expect the app is hosted in a major city on aws.
