it’s a fun simple shino made with kaolin, feldspar, and soda ash, i made it thick and applied it by hand for cracking. it crawls while drying and carbon traps in the kiln. shinos r rlly simple and i recommend giving it a try!

it’s a dream to throw! i did have some issues with cracking during drying so i think drying it slowly is best. i recommend also getting the starworks wild porcelain clay too, they don’t sell it online but it looks really cool for woodfiring.

the white slip on the outside is rlly pretty! ✨
