I'm just a person trying to get through my time on this planet with as little difficulty as possible, and hopefully interacting with as few assholes as need be.
Unfortunately as I understand it that UK is going through something similar to us. The Heritage Foundation has been shopping around Project 2025 to other countries as well and England is no exception. Lord knows the liberal government isn't doing much to endear itself right now.

Not a bad idea but that helmet is kind of throwing me off. It almost looks a little too skinny around the jaw

I say this every time I see a post like this but thank you. And sorry. Like sorry doesn't even begin to cover how embarrassed I am of my country. If economic agony is what it takes to wake up 46% of the electorate, then bring on the pain. And also sorry. Like so much. Genuinely. Love you Canada!

That's why it's a death cult!

This feels like a very performative measure from four Republicans who can then go back and be like, "I stood up to Trump even though I knew my resistance meant nothing"

As much as I would like to believe they are slowly growing a spine, history has taught us that they are nothing but capitulaters

Don't get too excited. As I understand this, now it goes to the house. Where, even if it passes, it will absolutely be vetoed when it hits his desk. Then it will go back and it will need a two-thirds majority in both houses, which it will not get.

Bro because why is his spray on tan so bad? You can even see it on his scalp. The man is a pale ghostly used condom of a human being that has to cake on the makeup more everyday because he thinks he's fooling everyone into believing he doesn't look like a sickly skeleton. A fat skeleton, but sickly

Wait, Newt Gingrich is still alive? I thought he croaked years ago! Why is his legal opinion at all relevant. There's a strong argument that his behavior during his time is what really kicks started this whole situation we're in

I mean I know he doesn't care. But Europe? Europe? You realize Europe is a continent with dozens of diverse countries right? So when he says European culture, is he talking about England? Turkey? Serbia? France?
White supremacist drive me insane because it's like Europe isn't homogeneous

And then there's the rest of them. The ones who are just trying to find ways to seize more and more power, more and more wealth, they don't care that it comes at the cost of everyone and everything. As long as they get theirs and become an oligarch, they're fine

The religious fundamentalists, in my opinion the scariest ones, want to see this country return to some sort of idea of what they think the past was like. They truly believe that their entire purpose on earth is to spread their hateful beliefs across the globe
March 16, 2025 at 6:37 AM
The dystopian tech Bros want the return of feudalism, the idea that they are the smartest and they know what's best and we're all lucky to even be on the same planet as them. They want us working for them as serfs, with no rights and no ability to fight back
March 16, 2025 at 6:36 AM
I think someone put it best when they said that this is three groups working in unison. You have the dystopian tech Bros, the religious fundamentalists, and the conservative pilferers and plunderers.

They're working in unison but have different ultimate end goals
March 16, 2025 at 6:36 AM
Totally agree. D e i has become a catch-all that you can substitute the worst words they want to really use about whatever group they're currently levying the charge at.
I don't know why they're too scared to just say it, it's not like they have any shame anymore, just come out and say it cowards

John fetterman really will go down in history as a brilliant case study into the correlation between unfortunate mental illness and brain damage, and the tendency to be more conservative. Because Lord knows before the medical incident he was completely different man than he is now

Let me just say, as a fellow Walton Goggins fan, I think he nailed it!

Even with all your fact checking, I refuse to believe that John is younger than David Beckham. That's just like a bit right? RIGHT!?

Watching Inside Out 2 last year was a mind-blowing experience, Anxiety defining herself as "I protect Riley from the dangers she can't see."

Sucks that my anxiety then spirals to such a level that it feels like I'm in an abusive relationship with myself.

Look I'm aware enough to know that even with his passing, the evil people behind him are still going to be in control of everything and we still need to be fighting like hell.

But man will I have a pep in my step on that day! I might even do a backflip!
