Light accumulation will be possible with the snow showers we will have tomorrow night. Loving the Greensboro, Charlotte, & Fayetteville areas for the greatest potential to snag a trace to an inch of snow. The confidence for greater amounts is a 5%. More than the last 2 winters for sure.

Confidence in an Appalachian snowfall event continues to increase for late next week as a blast of cold air will be brought to the East Coast of the US. Exact totals are still uncertain, but we should get an idea of some by Tuesday/Wednesday. High winds/first freeze for areas outside of the apps.
