I feel like i've noticed a similar latency problem with other hydrographs through NOAA's page. I've been relying heavily on the USGS National Water Dashboard more and more recently.

...benefits the private sector. The NWS is a prime example of this. These mass layoffs are just the first domino in a chain of events meant to lead to the privatization of the weather sector, to allow the rich to turn this life saving service into a profitable business. (3/4)
