Super excited to now have a copy @shawnmilrad.bsky.social's brand new edition of "Synoptic Analysis and Forecasting, An Introductory Toolkit" textbook featuring TONS of SounderPy soundings!

This is a great intro to synoptic meteorology and forecasting! Thanks for sending it, Shawn!

Beyond severe convective weather today, severe fire weather will exist on the high-plains of New Mexico & west Texas tomorrow PM. Extreme fire-behavior is possible given such extremely dry low-levels and strong surface winds. #NMwx #TXwx

Had an epic time at NSCS. I met and chatted with so many fantastic people, many of whom I've looked up to and grew up watching. I met many young, enthusiastic, and passionate soon-to-be stars of this community, and of course, had a great time with da bois 🫶 #NSCS25

Even with all the synoptic & TC tornado environment soundings I've seen from LCH, I think this takes the cake as the craziest sounding from Lake Charles. #LAwx #snow

Pushed a small update to SounderPy this AM correcting a minor bug when using ACARS data. ACARS access is also back up-to-date and available in near-real-time.

Here's a profile from New Orleans during #AMS2025 this morning! #LAwx
