Found an awesome open source project to go alongside Supercell Wx. This one is called OpenStorm. I used it for that tornado warned storm in Southeast Oklahoma about 20 minutes ago.

There's a higher tornado potential today for southern Missouri and northern Arkansas today, 8/9/2023. It's all dependent upon how soon the skies currently clear up to help increase destabilization. It's very important to keep an eye and ear out if you're in this area today.

The following are some larger populations in the risk area: Significant Severe: Paragould, AR...Poplar Bluff, MO...Ozark, MO...Nixa, MO...Harrison, AR... 10%: Springfield, MO...Fayetteville, AR...Jonesboro, AR...Springdale, AR...Rogers, AR... 5%: Memphis, TN...Nashville, TN...Huntsville, AL...Clarksville, TN...Murfreesboro, TN... 2%: Atlanta, GA...St. Louis, MO...Birmingham, AL...Little Rock, AR...Knoxville, TN... After a relatively short convective lull (a few hours at most), a secondary round of severe thunderstorms is expected to initiate near/ahead of the surface cold front/inverted trough across parts of central to southern Missouri into eastern Oklahoma during the late afternoon, with outflow/meso-beta zones of differential heating influential as well. As related to the previously discussed thermodynamic uncertainties, the northward-extent (namely across Missouri) of the more intense/higher-coverage severe storms will be highly dependent upon relatively quick/substantive clearing this afternoon. Deep-layer shear vectors will be at least semi-orthogonal to the initiating front and should support initially discrete supercells amid 45-60 kt effective bulk shear. Strengthening low-level southwesterlies during the evening will further enlarge hodograph curvature across southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. This could foster potential for a couple strong tornadoes.

Fortunately, it looks like Tropical Storm Bret will dissipate within 4 days if current trends continue. #TSBret #TropicalWX
The storm still appears to be under the influence of moderate westerly shear below the cirrus level, with the bulk of the deep convection displaced to the east of the center. Bret still has an opportunity to strengthen slightly over the next day or so, and the NHC intensity forecast is close to the SHIPS, LGEM, and HCCA solutions through 36 hours. Stronger deep-layer shear is expected to cause weakening in about 36 to 48 hours after Bret moves into the eastern Caribbean Sea, and global model fields indicate that the circulation could open up into a trough by Saturday. As a result, dissipation is now shown in the official forecast by day 4, although it could occur sooner than that. The tornado parameters on both HRRR and the NAM are agreeing about tomorrow's hatched tornado risk in Oklahoma and Kansas (albeit different times/locations).

Colorado: Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Glendale - Should be paying a lot of attention to the weather right now. Apparently there isn't too many in the area that are aware. If you know anyone there, please let them know tornadoes and storms with large hail are nearby and heading that way!

That low pressure system spinning up from the gulf over the Texas and Louisiana border right now really is a sight to see from satellite. This will be dumping a lot of rain that way and flooding is expected.

Today (5/9/2023) the SPC has outlined an Enhanced Risk area for #KSwx. There's also a Slight Risk area for Eastern #NCwx and Southeast #VAwx, as well as parts of far Northern #OKwx and Southwest #MOwx

If you live in #Kansas, you really want to be #WXAware today as you have all hazards possible.
A corridor of severe thunderstorms is expected today across parts of Kansas, with embedded swaths capable of producing very large hail, damaging severe gusts, and a few brief tornadoes. Scattered damaging winds and isolated severe hail is also possible this afternoon into early evening across eastern North Carolina and southeast Virginia.
