The "good" news about storm surge in the Black River Bay is that most all the land that floods is a natural flood plain that hasn't had much in the way of building occur. The exception is along the immediate coast.

Looks like some very heavy rains overnight have both brought the river up and pushed the glacial lake in Suicide Basin over the edge into release. Current forecast crest on the river would be a record.

Brother-in-law is visiting which means afternoon boardgames before I work the late evening shifts. This was excellent from the folks at All Play. One of the more fun "fill in the board with tetris pieces" style games I've played. Great variety in scoring that feels balanced.
