Yea. Seems like once you get into a pattern it’s hard to get something to break the trend. This year concerns me with the emerging La Niña conditions and overall warmer than average water. Always thought bigger than avg risk of late season storms.

Agreed - no bearing. Interesting though that in 7 of the 8 seasons this has occurred this century, no hurricanes made landfall in the US the entire season. Which sorta makes sense climatologically (less activity in October). Only takes one though and last two months this year can still be active
