I just don’t understand how this will work for people who pay cash. There’s no way to prevent prices to go to the penny when being rung up, unless taxes are included in the prices listed at stores and restaurants and they adjust their prices to be to the .05.

You don’t get to just resume a ceasefire after killing over 100 people. You violated the ceasefire. It’s no longer a ceasefire. It’s not a game where you can just call timeout whenever you want.

Public transportation is almost exclusively the means for which I’ve gotten around NYC anytime I have visited. I’ve taken a car into the city before, but taking the train into the city from Jersey and then riding the subways is the best way to get around.
