Do Americans know that in many talk shows around the world the guests listen to one another, take turns & refrain from shouting over the top of each other?
I’m sure there are more civilised exchanges on some US opinion shows. I just haven’t seen them!

Yes, I’m sure that’s likely very true.
In some cases I wondered if it might put people in a better position to ask for identification and/or a warrant.

I watch these things from outside the USA & wonder what would be the reaction of law enforcement in the early stages of an ICE kidnapping if people called 911 & said ‘I’m at X location being threatened with abduction by multiple unidentified masked thugs & fear for my life’.
