The best part about Linux It is "Free" and open source. You can customized your system way you need it. I always keep spare install of Windows on another drive just in case I need to return to do something. So far it is good for daily use. I enjoy Windows 10 since 2015 I am going miss it. RIP 10.

I move to Linux for that good reason too. I never regretted it. I kept my Windows 10 on another hard drive just in case I needed it. 😉

I feel you man. Sometimes best to wait out and see what happens. I know some do projects as hobby. Most are serious projects. Does not hurt to ask developers directly get to know the back story behind their projects.

In some way this is no longer a concept; a fellow developer named iPrograminCpp has basically turned this into an actual thing, with my permission. Best thing is it doesn't even make use of Electron, and actually works on Windows XP and 2000!
