Proud daughter of my WW2 Vet Dad.
Civics education and critical thinking are necessary for maintaining democracy.
Gratitude makes life a joy.
My Forever President. Easily the most consequential executive in my lifetime. I love him like he is my Dad.

I fell in love with the Harrier Jets when I saw the one in "True Lies". It just goes up vertically????? Wow!

Absolutely not. I don't spend time in the real world with people whose company I don't enjoy. Why on earth would I let those in a fictional world take up my precious time? I walk away from anything or anyone that doesn't enrich my life.

Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra". For 6 damn days. Love the song, but c'mon brain. Give it a rest!

This smug SOB also called Musk a "genius" on CBS Sunday Morning a few weeks ago. I shudder to think how much of our money he controls when he's this clueless.

And US car travel to Canada is down (at least in our house) because as much as we love spending time in our neighbor's beautiful home, we can't be sure of our own ease of US re-entry because utter madness is currently sitting in our government. We continue to fight back.

3.5 million marched. 74 million went to the polls. We needed the 81 million who voted for Biden. Those who sat it out for Gaza or student loan anger or misogyny or racism or apathy or 3rd party impotence don't get how votes work in a binary system. Democracy or Tyranny. Too many didn't get the math.

Next call to march is for April 19th. 👍🩷☀️

Our compromised media may not cover it all but there were millions in the streets. One down, and as many more as it takes to remove the rot from our beloved country. This sign said it all for me. Joyce Vance posted it from a protest in Alabama.

I'm so very delighted to retain my HC status in the midst of the maelstrom. 🩷🤗🍁

I applaud you. We're boycotting many of our own corporate shills. I hope you still accept admiring hugs from your USA compatriots, because I'm sending you a big one.

Tuned the TV to HGTV, watched some wonderful Lucy Worsley history on the DVR and streamed Move On's rebuttal on my phone. A good evening all around.

That may actually have been part of the point. I sure don't wanna dance with him.

Her books are about cherishing and celebrating difference and uniqueness and that Love is the most potent magic of all. What on earth invaded her soul in the years since she wtote them?

Same. I wouldn't be worthy of being his daughter if I wasn't willing to drag Nazi assholes to Hell by their hair.

We need independent media sources since the corporate shills have deserted Democracy. Medias is subscriber-funded. Please support them if you can. My subscription is part of my promise to myself to "do something".

I am heartbroken and am keeping a low profile until I can face the reality of the anti-democratic stupidity, racism and misogyny in my beloved country without crying. I worked so hard to keep autocratic rule from taking root. I know I'll return to the fight, but healing and inner peace comes first.
