If you watched Trump's speech last night (Dec 17) and still support him, you should feel good. You have more money to spend,inflation is going down as is prices. Your Thanksgiving meal was cheaper since turkey prices were at a record low.

You know I kind of feel sorry for this generation at Xmas. I still remember family gatherings and friends on Xmas. Of Christmas candle light service, for true Christian beliefs, even though you may not agree, you still remain friends. When politics and religion were personal and not public.

We will all suffer because of ultra MAGA choices in 2024. We can take comfort in knowing that poor red states will feel the most by their stupidity, like Mississippi, Alabama, West Virginia Florida Texas etc. Farmers are crying the blues when they vote for tariffs and deportation of their pickers.

It's going to be interesting how many ultra MAGA still blame democrats for the shutdown. After Trump himself said the reason Republicans lost November 5 was because he wasn't on the ballot and the shutdown. He also said they could end it by bypassing the filibuster.

In the spring, I told my wife of 54 years that only when ultra MAGA suffers with the rest of us can thing possibly change in the future. Thanks to the BBB, Snap, Medicaid, and the price of health insurance,tariffs, farmers, ranchers, and the radical ultra MAGA will pay with the rest of us.

It will be interesting to watch what this administration does to fill the void in the military, when enlistment tanks are retirement goes, and no one wants to reenlist, because they didn't take the Oath to harm Americans for a dictator or king. As a veteran, I can understand.
